All members and guests visiting the Detroit Zoo are required to make reservations. Advance reservations are required and subject to availability. Member reservation availability may differ from general public ticket availability. Purchasing a membership does not guarantee reservation availability.
You must have a valid Detroit Zoological Society membership to reserve your tickets. To purchase or renew a membership please click here.
Please check back as spots may become available, due to cancellations or increased availability.
We are all in this together. We ask that members only book a reservation once every two weeks. Members will only be able to make reservations for the people currently listed on their membership. Please reserve a spot for each member ages two and older who will be in attendance the day of your visit. Reservations can be made up to two weeks in advance. Reservations will be limited to 6 people per order.
General admission tickets may be available when member reservations are booked in order to provide access to all visitors from our community. Members who purchase general admission tickets for entry on member sold out dates will not be eligible for a refund.
Regardless of vaccination status, the Detroit Zoological Society requires that all guests 5 and older wear a mask at all times while at the Zoo, unless otherwise prevented by a medical condition. In an effort to maintain physical distancing among guests, the DZS will be limiting capacity within the Zoo over the 125 acres.
To create a membership reservation, please enter your member ID and the last name on the membership.
